About Us

Bridget Holtby M.S., CCC-SLP

I am a licensed speech language pathologist and cofounder of The Speech Clinic. After completing graduate school at the University of Utah, I have spent the past 8 years in pediatrics within outpatient clinics at a local children’s hospital, Utah’s early intervention birth- 3 program and school-based settings.

I am passionate about creating individualized care plans tailored to each client’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. I meet families where they are in their speech therapy journey, providing support that feels achievable, natural and fun!

Born and raised in Utah, I have always loved being active, traveling, and jumping into new adventures whenever I can. Above all, I love being a mom and spending time with my husband and daughter. I’m excited to provide speech therapy in an independent setting that supports creativity, flexibility, and truly individualized care.

Makenna Stutz M.S., CCC-SLP

I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah and have spent my career helping children with their speech and language. I do so in ways that feel encouraging, playful, and meaningful. I love turning hard work into small wins that build real confidence — because communication isn’t just about sounds and words, it’s about connection.

I’m Utah born and raised and recently married my husband, Hunter. I’m a proud mom to a kindergartner and a dog mom to Oakley. When the weather’s warm, I’m happiest outside hiking, dancing at a country concert, or surfing behind a boat. When it’s cold, you’ll find me leaning into all things cozy. Speech therapy has my whole heart, and I feel so lucky to support children and families as they grow, connect, and thrive. I feel so fortunate to be a cofounder of The Speech Clinic and I am excited to be creating a space in the private setting, in which families feel supported throughout their speech therapy journey.
